Father and Son

I apologize to Bostorino's readers for the absence (lol .. as if ..)
I needed to focus a little, though, were not successful. There are many things on my mind now, but not sure which ones I want to write here.

Let's start from last friday. Friday night, after getting back to Austin from a long trip to Dallas, I needed some time alone on the bike. I went to Mopac, and I broke my personal ground speed record of 100 mph. New speed was recorded at 125 mph. YA that was awesome ...

To a related a topic, my weight lifting instructor brought my attention to that I am an adrenaline junkie! prolly ... Though, going 125 mph makes me relax! well, aint that the definition of addiction!

In the break I recieved an invitation to the University Honors Day being designated as a college scholar. There are two ranks .. Distinguished college scholar and a college scholar ... It annoyed me because I have the GPA for a Distinguised scholar, but they say that I have to be registered for at least 15 hrs!! thas so stupid ... I don't have too many hrs left to take 15 hrs each semester from now till next spring!!

Anyways, I get to invite a prof to the program. I talked to Dr. Neptune, and he was glad to come. I also got a research idea that I told him about. I honestly not expecting it to go through, but if it does, it's gonna be great, isA.

Past week I was completely distracted. I didn't feel like doing anything. So I pretty much didn't!
Oh, I had some really interesting talk with my measurement lab TA, Chico, an Itallian guy. He was really upset that nobody cares about the lab, and he really is trying to teach us. He was also upset from the quality of our reports, and all the dumb stupid things we do. I tried to explain to him that this class is really boring, annoying and useless to us. Aside from that the prof really sucks (I didn't say it out flat, but implicitly said it!) Though, his point was that these things are really basics and we should know it. Also, he said "you guys should do it right ... you are in engineering for a reason, I hope so ... if u don't like it .. go do some fine arts or something ... fine arts are cool!" he was right, and I was embarrassed. We talked for a while, and he expressed how frusterated he is. He wanna be a professor to teach, exactly like me. Doesn't really care much about research! Anyways ..

What an irony .. later in the week we get to realise tht Chico is a motorcycle fanatic ... in fact he is crazy about them. What's funny, he rides the same exact bike model I ride. We spent about an hr or more talking about bikes and such... it is awesome ... I respect Chico!

What else happened last week ...

Oh .. last night I played broomball with TBP against HKN. HKN is the EE honor society. Man, I never expected EE nerds would kno how to play sports. Our team was not very organized. If you kno broomball u kno it can get rough. So, It is not too hard, and I played it before. We lost 4-0, and almost every part of my body has some bruises or is sore, but oh man I kicked some !@# ... haha ... what I did is that I would run with the ball, and if some guy comes at me .. I just keep moving forward ..it's either me or him on the ground .... : )) I beat'em up! MAWHAHAHAHHAAAAAAAAA

What else new ... oh ... I can't believe it's saturday already ... WAHOO .. I have soo much work and so little time ... but I dont care ... I will isA get it all done ...

I am watching Babel .. I really like the movie ... I wasn't so excited about it cuz I hate Brad Pitt ... but Babel doesn't have many Pitt scenes! Oh ... I have to admit, after watching Meeting Joe Black .. Pitt has got some acting skills!

As for the song ... I love this song ... but never knew Yusuf sang it again, and with whom ... amazing ...
