Walking the Bike
I spent more than two hours today riding my bike around west campus to get used to the bike. Allhamdulillah, no majore oops happened, but again west campus was empty! Though, I don't know if you call the breaking on me an oops!
The bike is an old one. It get stuck sometimes and doesn't turn on. I have seen that couple of times even with Ashraf, but he alwasy did something quick to fix it. Well, it happened with me couple of times, I would miss around with it for a sec, and it works again. Today, I was on 26th when I stopped on a stop sign, and the bike died on me. That's fine, I can started again. but nah, nothing is running. I didn't have my phone with me. Stayed there for a bit trying to turn it on, but nothing happened. Walked the bike over to 7/11, and tried more, nothing started. The bike was just dead. Later, I gave up, and decided to walk the bike home. So, I had my helmet on walking back my 600cc 400lbs bike. I saw some pretty funny faces looking at me, "you idiot, you are supposed to be on it, not walking with it!" Anyways, I made back safely. I called Ashraf later, and he told me what to do.
