Wait a second... Do I see a Ferrari?

I was on the phone when I was crossing Dean Keaton today.
"OMG," I said. "Ammar, r u ok? what is happening there?" My friend on the phone said.
I said,"nah ... I think someone is driving a Ferra.... HOLY CRA..."
Ahmad," Ammar ... wht the !@# is happening." I said, "aaah ... dude ... oooh .. call u back... nah just hold on.."

I was about to cross the street when I spotted a red convertible 355 Spider with the top down waiting for the green light. I was surprised, cuz I rarely see Ferraris in Austin's streets. I saw them in Downtown coupla times, but thas about it. Couldn't get my eyes off of the Ferrari, just to realise tht the driver is the prof tht taught me Physics II, which totally shocked me. I know the guy used to brag about his Viper, and I heard he got a new car, but never expected him driving a Ferrari. The funny part is that I was looking at the car, and the traffic light turned green, and I am in the middle of the street and on the phone. lol ... cross the street Jordanian style...

This prof in specific is the exception for all stereotyping about professors. Aside from cars, the guy was super cool, seriously. I mean all professors have crapy cars. We have this prof that he is teaching now as a kind of retiring. He was Secretary of Air Defense in Clinton's adminstration. He is taking it easy now, and just being a professor! He told us that he makes NOW 250K a yr. U kno wht he drives? a Geo Metro. It is SAD. I don't understand professors. They are well paid, still they drive mini vans, and old cars nd such. Not to mention the jeans, or the sneakers. A friend of mine says tht the longer they spend as tinured professors they go crazier, because they are different than every one else, they are not stressed about keeping their job!

I will write a whole different post of what I think about fancy luxirous things.

First final is down, two to go. Today's final, Struc.A, went well allhamdulillah. In fact I got back that test I was worried about. When the TA handed back to me, I looked back at him and said, "u r not serious, r u?" the prof was right next to him, whom I already talked to about tht test, almost laughed at me and said, "he is serious. we can take back if u want." Let's say I got a grade tht I utlimetly didn't expect. it was completely out of reach! What happened tht they put very little grades on the final answers, and the TA didnt notice few stupid things I did. Allhamdulillah!
Next test is fluids. the last test would be EE. I am not that worried about Fluids, inshallah it goes well. EE is freakin me out, honestly. The prof covered 7 chapters in 4 lectures, I think I mentioned this before.
Inshallah khair, I am very excited about the break ... got plenty of plans to do ... by the end of the break, I want to ride my bike to the airport to fly a plane! Inshallah ... : ))
